Yes, that’s right!

Reach into your pocket and find  $5 bucks. Or skip a Starbucks coffee today.

Set this $5 aside and let me show you how you can take that $5 and turn it into $5,000 per month. (  No kidding… )

So it was about 8-9 years ago, I was coming back from a party & i realized that i was out of gas in my car.

I walked into the gas station and swiped my credit card and it was denied.
( I will NEVER forget this day, because it was a turning point in my life )

When I finally got home and saw my bank statement, this is what I see:

I HAD ZERO DOLLARS IN MY BANK ACCOUNT.

Now for me, this was rock bottom. I knew I had to change this around and had to do it quickly.

There was a friend in my school that was making lots of money online. (At first, I thought he was selling drugs!) But when I asked him, he was kind enough to tell me what he did and how I can do it for myself.

BAMMMMMM!!!!

In a matter of months, I was making thousands and thousands of dollars.

So what was this secret?

Step 1: Find a topic

What are you really good at?

Ask yourself that question. What are you really good at? For me, it was computers and technology. I was in love with all the new gadgets at that time and I really enjoyed talking about it.

So what are you really good at? What do you like? What are you passionate about?

This could anything like food, technology, sports, makeup, fashion, shoes, movies, books, etc.

Once you find a topic (and please take the time to find something you are super passionate about), write it down and save it!

Step 2: Get a domain name

You need to find a good domain name that goes along with your topic and is catchy!

For example, if you want to talk about sports then your domain name can be something like sporttalks.com (that is already taken but you can see how catchy it really is).

Please, do not get a free domain name. You are trying to earn money which means people have to give you their money. This requires a brand and a good reputation which will not be built with a free domain name.

Now, I had zero dollars to get started. (But really I had about $5 in my pocket). Domain names cost about $12-20 per year. So I knew I didn’t even have enough for one year of a domain name. So I looked all over the internet and found random coupons. After everything I discovered GoDaddy!

You can get a domain name at GoDaddy for $0.99.

(No, I am not paid by GoDaddy to do this but I just love their service and their prices)

Step 3: Get Website Hosting

You can do a quick Google search and find free hosting.

Or you can spend about $5 per month and get hosting from a company called HostMyte.

Why Should You Pay For Hosting?

A few things you will get with paid hosting compared to free hosting:

  • Better security
  • Faster loading time for your website
  • Bigger space
  • Easier to scale up your business and website

Step 4: Install WordPress

Now, this is where the fun begins. After this step, you can call yourself a website designer!

WordPress is a free powerful tool that will make the creating of your website really easy.

Not only that but it will make blogging on your website very doable. (more about this later)

Go to YouTube and search “ Learn WordPress”

You will find super easy instructions on how to install it.

Now, you need a THEME/Skin for your Blog. Go here Theme Directory – Free WordPress Themes

To install the theme, Go to Youtube and search “ how to install WordPress themes.

Also, hosting companies like HostMyte, give you a one-click install to install WordPress on there.

Yes, it is that simple to build and create a website!

Step 5: Blogging

Content is key!

You need to live by that phrase.

On your website, you need to start writing articles (about 40–50 per day). I know this sounds crazy but again since you picked a topic you are passionate about, this shouldn’t be too hard.

For example, if you picked sports, you can write about the games that happened this week. Or your feelings about the coach’s or player’s performances. It’s an endless supply of things to talk about. (that’s like 3 topics to write about right there)

These articles don’t have to be anything fancy, quick 300+ words that flow together and is easy to read. (pretty much 5th grade level of writing)

If you have some money to spend, you can hire people on Fiverr or UpWork to write articles for you. They can write 20–30 article or more per day for about $1–2 per article.

Why Blogging Is Important?

Two things will happen when you start blogging: your SEO rank (Google Ranks) will go up and more people will find and come to your website!

(This right here is a blog post!)

Watch a video of me explaining how to do the steps above:

Step 6: Make Money

Finally, after all the work you have put in on your website, it’s finally time to start making money!

How do you make money will all of this?

Now there are endless possible ways that you can make money with this. But here is what I did:

First thing, I added a lead capture form on my website.

You need some type of form on your website that people can fill out to give you their name and email address. Something like this.

With this info, you can email everyone with a new blog post, product’s buy links, and many more other things that make you money.

Remember, these people are signing up on their own and they trust you because they read your content. That is a double win for you!

So this is exactly what I did, I put a newsletter signup form at the bottom of every blog post.

Before you know it, you will have hundreds to thousands of people signed up on an email list for you.

Now, I had all these people’s emails but I couldn’t send them emails one-by-one. That would take forever!

So I need to get something like an AutoResponder.

You can use a service like MailChimp or ContastContact to send these people emails. Both of the services either provide a free one month trial or they make it free for under 2000 contacts. Trust me if you have a list with 2000 people’s emails then you should be a millionaire!

Now that I had people’s emails and a way to sent mass emails at once, I was ready to make money.

So one of the first things I did was I went on Amazon.com, and become an affiliate. What an affiliate means is that if someone buys a product by click on my link then I will make a percentage of the final sale. So if a toy cost $10 and someone buys it from my link, then I would make about $3.

Since my website and topic has to do with computers, I sent emails with computers or other tech gadgets that I really liked. I would do a quick review and tell the people why they should buy it. Before you know it, I was making a few hundred dollars a day.

(Put a picture of amazon dashboard here)

Now, having made money on Amazon affiliate program was all great and stuff but it wasn’t the thousands I was looking for.

So I decided to add more to my income!

I added Google AdSense on my website. This is Google placing ads on your website. Everytime someone clicks on the ad you will make a $0.25–5.

(Put google ad sense dashboard here)

Then I started writing eBooks, building courses, and even selling merchandise to a total of $5,000 per month.

(put direct-pay dashboard here)

Conclusion

This is one of the easiest ways to make money. I did it 8-9 years ago and it still is true till today.

As you can see it did not cost more than $5 (in some cases it might’ve only cost about $1).

This is not something that will happen overnight. But you if you put in the work then you will make thousands of dollars per month easily.

If you do not make money with instructions above, It means: YOU did not do what the work & you felt lazy. The internet is a GoldMine!
